Benefits of joining our club

  • Friendly family orientated accommodation. Huge lounge and dining areas promote open conversation with other guests providing the opportunity to meet and get to know like minded people. Many long term friendships were started right here.
  • Full catering provided. As far as we know the only lodge at Hotham with a chef / manager to provide all breakfast and evening meals, with the ability to come back to the lodge and make your own lunch (a great cost saver). No carting boxes of food etc to the mountain, also no cooking after a long hard day's skiing.
  • Central position ski-in ski-out right on Big D with direct access to Kids Ski School / Ski hire / Cafe (you can see kids skiing down Big D even at night skiing). Magnificent views right across Hotham Valley.
  • Buses right at the Big D car park, no driving vehicles (i.e. Dinner Plain) park and forget.
  • Locker storage for all your skis and gear (more coming soon) saves carting gear up and down the mountain during the season thus making it a lot more pleasurable to just pack a few things and go.
  • The feeling of being involved in a local club and having interaction with other local members.
  • Having meaningful input into how the lodge is run and future redevelopments so that the club and lodge can best suit your needs.
  • A mix of young and older committee members all working enthusiastically to provide a better club always prepared to listen to your ideas.
  • Economically priced accommodation that still allows you to have funds left to ski or relax.
  • Great lounge areas with large open fire for relaxing and peaceful time for non-skiers as well.
  • Great summer getaway as well for groups who love mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing, 4WDriving or just relaxing in the mountains.
